On 26 February 2014, Media Prima Digital (“MPD), Malaysia’s no.1 Digital Media group and the digital arm of Media Prima Berhad (“Media Prima” or “the Group”), Malaysia’s leading media conglomeratehas embarked on a new partnership with Senheng® Electric (KL) Sdn Bhd, one of the leading consumer electronics chain stores in the country to expand and enrich the digital newspapers of The New Straits Times Press (M) Sdn Bhd.
The partnership was officiated through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony, held earlier today at the SenQ outlet in 1 Utama. This collaboration will see the digital editions of New Straits Times, Berita Harian and Harian Metro widely promoted through Senheng®’s chain stores nationwide through a series of in-store promotions.
With the Easy payment scheme offered by Senheng®, customers can now have the bundling option to include 1 or more subscriptions to the digital newspaper with purchases of selected smart gadgets and Samsung Smart TVs.
